A wardrobe left in a shared bay is not collected — it is logged, and traced back to the unit. Under Law No. 18 of 2017, as amended by Law No. 6 of 2023, disposing of waste anywhere other than a location designated by the competent municipality can carry a fine reaching QR 25,000. The law explicitly covers common areas of private buildings, where penalties reach QR 10,000 and the municipality can remove the items and bill you.
